Paper Plate Mother's Day Card
 Prepare be some stuff:

•      paper plate
•      Construction paper and colors: pink, yellow, purple, green, blue
•      black marker
•      Pen or pencil
•      small scissors
•      glue sticks
•      pattern

     Fold the paper into two plates. Fold a piece of light blue construction paper in half and place a paper plate folded into the paper. Trace around the plate and set aside.
     Print floral patterns. Trace the pattern on yellow construction paper, pink, and purple. Cut flowers. Cut 3 strips of green paper, ½ "x 4".

     Glue sticks and flowers to the folded paper plate. Cut the stem.
     Use black marker to write the word "mother" in the flower, one letter on each flower..
     Take a folded blue paper with an outline of a paper plate and draw a curved line along the inside edge of the curve.
     Cut off the curved, folded paper cutting, creating two identical pieces. .
     Glue the blue curve to the outside of the front of the card and the bottom of the inside of the card. Let everything dry.

Nice tips:

     Use plain paper plates - paper will not adhere well to the plate with a layer of wax.
     Buy a package of paper plates at the dollar store to use only for craft projects.
